Bulk Products |
Extremely wet, muddy, or frozen conditions may prevent us from being able to load bulk materials. We do not load bulk products into small containers such as bags and buckets. A standard sized pickup bed can hold up to 1.5 yards comfortably. If you don't have the use of a pickup or trailer, we offer delivery. Below are some of the soils, mulches, and amendments we typically carry.
|
Raised Bed Mix - Petree's own blend of Colorado Compost, potting soil, and peat moss plus composted sheep manure. Excellent planting medium for flower and vegetable gardens. While it does contain organic materials, our raised bed mix is not prepared with food for your plants, so that you can feed according to what you're growing. Feed high nitrogen for green leafy growth and high phosphates for flowers, vegetables, and fruit. Colorado Compost - A clean, pesticide-free, all-purpose soil builder that helps loosen clay soil and restores organic matter to depleted or under-amended soil. Mushroom Compost - A great product for top-dressing grass seed or wildflower seed. Due to a high salt content, Petree's does not recommend using mushroom compost as your primary amendment for vegetable or annual flower gardens. Walk-on Bark - Chipped-bark mulch, great for paths and walkways.
